I am visiting a friend who lives in Wilmington and we stopped at Jack Mackerels for lunch. Originally we had considered ordering the seafood linguine although, our server said it was probably not our best choice. Regardless, Crystal was very helpful and helping us select menu items. We absolutely loved the food that we ordered and service was phenomenal! My friend, a local, plans to revisit this establishment over and over again. I will definitely be there when I revisit them in September as well. Be sure to ask your server what their suggestions are and possibly you can avoid some of the negative reviews that I have seen regarding this establishment. FYI...the mashed sweet potatoes are the BOMB! Ask for the brown sugar pecan topping.

Absolutely love eating here. Service is fast and friendly and the food is amazing. We literally ate here 2 nights in a row. Food portions are wonderful and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I will definitely visit the next time I'm in town. I already miss the chili lime Mahi Mahi.
